(ContentDesk) September 18, 2004 -- Darryl Flores and Carolyn Melendez, wedding planners with Weddings by Showtime have recently been planning one more wedding than those of their existing clientele?their own.Darryl Flores, Founder and COO of Weddings by Showtime, an event producing company, will marry Carolyn Melendez on Saturday, October 2, 2004.
Carolyn, Executive Director of Operations for Weddings by Showtime started working for Weddings by Showtime on a part time basis in February, when the couple started dating.
In July, she quit her job of 21 years with USAA to completely focus on the growing business.
Being in the industry, family and friends' expectations of the event are high.
The event will not disappoint"
With our experience in planning weddings, we knew exactly what we wanted and what vendors we would use" said Darryl.

The couple will host a "Black and White" affair with ?Oscar Night' flair at The Weston Centre in downtown San Antonio, complete with red carpet, velvet ropes and paparazzi.
"The only difficult part was finding ways to allow the wedding professionals we selected the opportunity to work and attend our wedding."
Melendez said.
"It will be easier for our bigger vendors, but our one and two person companies like our florists will be pulling double duty."
Weddings by Showtime produces an average of sixty events per year by offering one stop shopping and personalized wedding packages for South Texas brides.
They employ five additional wedding planners on their staff and work with 7-10 vendors in every aspect of weddings to offer brides the many choices they look for..
